scotmanfrontiernetnet 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2011 I marked this not as a support question but more of a general css offtopic question. I'm trying to remove the nav, header and breadcrumb from a post I created. Does this css look right? It isn't working, and if I wanted to this at the page would it be #page? I guess I really don't understand classes and how they figure in. What I mean is DIV ID starts with # and a class starts with a period. What if their are no classes within a div how would you edit things on a page and post specific level? #post-88, #navigation_bar {display:none;} #page-88, #navigation_bar {display:none;} Here is the website I'm working on it is a non-pl site..so hence not a support question. http://seotool.tv/video/landing-page/
cmunns 16 Report post Posted January 27, 2011 That doesn't even appear to be a WP site so there are no classes attached posts like that. View source and look at the body and you see nothing there.
scotmanfrontiernetnet 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2011 cmunns thanks for your input. Yea I noticed that too no classes to work with.I will have to make the best of it and work with what I have. Chalk this up as a bad WP Theme..I should have known when I seen they only support timthumb too. I purchased the theme from themeforest. To be honest I would have purchased from you all like I have in the past. I been trying to use a wide variety of themes for my clients so when I create my client portfolio they will not all look like the same website(layout ect). Do you all plan on releasing more themes for businesses in the future?
bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted January 28, 2011 Scot, the key is customize each website differently. PlatformPro is really a blank slate for you to do just that. As a personal note, not every website is going to inspire awe. Sometimes, simple minimal design and information is just fine. Thanks, Bryan
scotmanfrontiernetnet 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2011 You know Bryan I got to thinking about that after I sent in the first mockup to the client. I thought "Why not customize Pagelines themes so each design is distinctly unique". I might create a new mockup and do just that...from what the sales agent was telling me I hope he doesn't pick the first initial mockup.
