Non-clickable header for dropdown menu

Recommended Posts

buffalo777

I am using StationPro and am using dropdown menus. They work great! However, I would rather not allow site visitors to click on the header tab for those tabs with dropdown menus. How can I accomplish this? Here is my site: www.lifetreemn.com

Hmm, the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is to have that about link redirect to one of those subpages, like "who we are" for example. I don't know of a way to put an item in the menu and not have it link to something.

Just to make sure I made sense... I want the subitems to link to something, just not the "About" tab. So, basically, I want the dropdown menu to function and the submenu items to be clickable. I don't want the "About" tab to be clickable Don't know if that is the way you understood my question or not?

You could do what Tyler recommended or recreate you menu custom in: Appearance > Menus and then simply make the top levels tabs custom links with # in place of the URL. Thanks, Bryan
