superfish menu padding not taking custom code?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have been trying to get rid of the extra 5px with the top menu navigation on the site to trim up the navigation so it doesn't move to a second line: http://www.inov8-ed.com I tried to put this in the custom css to override: #primary-nav ul.sf-menu li a { padding: 10px; } However, in Firebug, it seems that the superfish.css file keeps overriding the custom code #primary-nav ul.sf-menu li a { padding: 10px 15px; } #primary-nav ul.sf-menu li a { padding: 10px; } The second padding has a strikethrough. How can I get the custom code to override what is there? Thanks. -Adam

Instead of adding the code to Custom Code, add it to the base.css file in the child theme instead.

I used this code and it worked: `#primary-nav ul.sf-menu li a{padding:10px 10px 10px 10px !important;}` -Adam
