bobborsongmailcom 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2011 Hello, I know how to switch my home page into a static page but I would like to add a parent level tab on the menu bar that says "blog" which the visitor would select and then go to the most recent blog posts. Under the reading settings I have set my 'About' tab to be my front page (static page) but how do I set up the blog tab I want to create to go to the latest blog posts - which are found not on a page but are the main url address. In the Reading settings, it asks me which page to set for my posts page but my only options seem to be selecting a page I've set up rather than simply use the website main url. Does this make sense? I appreciate your help.
bevj 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2011 yeah it does, you've about half way there. Create a new page and call BLOG and publish it. When you return to the wordpress>reading and switch to static you'll be able to select the blog page as your posts page. Remember to add the blog page to your custom menu cheers, Bev
