jiznakefoo 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2011 I am working on a site and was able to get the highlight image in the header (above the nav) on every page EXCEPT the blog page. Is there a reason why the highlight image won't show on the blog page? here is the site (in progress): Blog Page Home Page (with highlight header)
realjoshlee 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2011 Couple things, You need to go into the Template Styler in settings of Pagelines Pro. Then choose "Posts Page". Drag the Features block from the right to the left hand side and put it on top of the other blocks you might have. Then you need to go to your blog page that you setup in the "Pages" wp backend and tell that page to use your featured block. You scroll down and you will see this: Then update the page and you should see the featured box. Let me know if you need any other help.
jiznakefoo 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2011 Hi Josh, Thanks for the info! That works in showing the FEATURES section UNDER the nav (see result here) which is closer, however I want it to be a HEADER image OVER the nav (like so). I have it setup in the TEMPLATE SETUP area to be in the header but it doesn't work on the BLOG page. I am assuming then that this has to be hard coded in? jiznakefoo 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2011 Hey Josh, You actually pointed me in the right direction. It works ONLY if I use the Featured Image, it doesn't work for the highlight image for some reason. So I'll just do it that way. Thanks again!
