Box sets on posts question

I understand that "Posts pages and 404 pages in WordPress don't support meta data", but then how can the Carousel and Highlight templates be used for Posts? Is there a work around to allow post-specific box sets to be used a la Pages? "Why not use Pages?" you ask. Pages don't work with the carousel. Trying to use the carousel for Pages that contain products and the carousel to display those products on the home page. Home: amblerkids.massivemouse.com Product: amblerkids.massivemouse.com/canuck/ Please let me know if it's possible to use Pages with the Carousel or Box sets with Posts. Either would work. Thanks!

Well on the posts pages, the default options can be used to control viewing... you could also request some options for specific controls on the posts pages. We are open to all of that

Sorry, I don't understand. Is it possible to use the Carousel section and link the carousel images to Pages? OR Is it possible to use the Box template for Posts? Thanks!

To clarify, I'm looking for unique Box sets per Post, not one Box set for all posts.

Yes, scott, there is some engineering involved though. The boxes support shortcodes, which allow them to do anything. and the carousel links to posts, but you can override the template in the child theme.

Sorry, still not getting it. SCENARIO 1 (Boxes in Posts) If it's possible to use box sets in Posts, how is this done? Are there shortcodes for boxes, such as: [box set="" columns="" thumbPosition="" iconSize=""][/box]? SCENARIO 2 (Carousel links to Pages) If it's possible to link carousel thumbnails to Pages (rather than Posts), by overriding the template, what template controls the Carousel? Thank you! Scott
