Platform Pro and coauthors plus plugin

Co-author plus is now compatible with 3.3.1. (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/co-authors-plus/) I would like to use this plugin, but it is still not working properly with Pagelines Pro. I think I found the necessary code in the section.postauthor.php file. But I do not want to change this file. Is there away to code this somewhere else? This bit of code was suggested in another forum to display multiple authors in a post: Thanks for the help!

Hi, I know it's been a year but has anyone figured out a way to easily add the co-authors function into the post byline? Thanks for any advice!
