Customizing BOXES to fit within content area

I know that the BOXES are set to default to #boxes .content-pad, however, I want to change it so that the width of the boxes feature is the same width as my content area. I want to add text above them in a content area and then have the side bar fit universally down the side. #boxes .content-pad seems to force the boxes to fit to the entire width of the site. I THINK that I need to pull one of the CSS selectors (#boxes .content) here and apply that to the Custom CSS styling area but I'm not sure how. Thanks in advance! Amanda

Sample: Thanks Adam - Please see above. Again, I think I'm totally clear on how to use boxes but the issue is that on my box template page, I have a header as you can see, then dive right into the boxes. I would like to add text (content) above the boxes but it looks weird because the content stops where a sidebar would be. Ideally, I would like to have the boxes only be the width of my content area, then the sidebar would run right down even beside the boxes... Is this possible?

Hi Bryan, Thanks so much for getting back. Actually, I still need help. I want to put a paragraph of text above the boxes and below the highlight area. I know I can do this using the template area but when I add the text, the paragraph only runs about 3/4 across the page. There is a sidebar set up to the right of all of my content areas. It looks really weird that the boxes span the entire width and the text only spans 3/4 width. I would love to reset the boxes to only span 3/4 across, the same width as the content area so the sidebar can run all the way down beside both. Does that make sense? Should I set up the paragraph again so you can see what I mean? Thanks again for getting back and I really appreciate you taking another quick look.

If you add that paragraph in there and provide a link to the page I'm sure we could help you get it in there with css, or try using the full-width sidebar somewhere in template setup.
