Cannot install Platform Pro and Platform Base

I have installed WordPress on one of my Dreamhost accounts. I bought Platform Pro and tried diligently to follow the minimal instructions for installing them via FTP. When I got the "Platform Base Theme Broken" messages, I searched here for help and tried changing the name of the folder, but now BOTH are broken. This is promoted as very user-friendly, and I'm not a total novice. I'm extremely frustrated. Please point me to instructions to make this work or refund the $175.

Hi Carol - It's hard to say what went wrong without being able to see the site or the backend. I would try removing them from the themes folder and re-uploading them. If you continue to have issues, please e-mail us and we can help you from there. All the best, Kate

I"ve already tried that several times with no change. I have emailed as you requested.

A simple re-install wouldn't change anything if the theme files are broken. You would have to try and download a fresh set from your account and make sure that it looks like all the files are present, especially a style.css

Three more tries and it finally worked (I think - it's difficult to be confident about what's working after so many failures).
