Adding Legal links to footer

Recommended Posts

josiahdthompson

Hi, So I want to add links to pages about legal stuff in the footer. I attempted to insert html code links and the text and save the settings and it worked great once. but then I reloaded the homepage again and the links disappeared and the html code disappeared in the options. here is how I entered it:

Copyright | http://creditprotectionalliance.com/?page_id=288">Disclaimer | ect....

I am using the White House Logo I entered this html in appearance>WPPro options>footer options under site terms statement in the text field. What should I do? Thank You Josiah

Hello again! So I entered the code correctly this time and the links didn't stay. They also seemed to disappear on another site I am working on. I enter the links, save, and everything works fine, then I reload the page and the links disappear. I check the settings and all I see is <href= and nothing else in the text line. what can I do?

This is interesting. Somebody else was having this problem too. It sounds like it might be bug. We'll take a look at this. In the meantime, you can hardcode this in. Look for this line in the footer.php file:

`<?php e_pagelines('terms');?>`

Replace that with the html for the links.

I'm using iBlog and whenever I try to put something in the Footer (copyright symbol) everything disappears after I save it. Not just the footer text, but all the settings. Twice I've lost my Feature settings and had to set it back to default and start over again. I guess I'll just leave the footer blank.
