Feature Slider using Multiple Categories?

I see there is a setting for the feature Slider to use a single catagory as the post content for the slider. Is there any way to use just the latest post from multiple categories to populate the featured slider? PlatformPro with Base Child Theme (not sure what version - don't know where to find that info, but just bought it a couple days ago).

Go to the Settings link in the Platform tab of the wp-admin. Choose the Feature Settings tab. In "Select Source" try your given category and put it in the Category ID field below.

Yes, but I was asking if there is some way to pull just the latest post from multiple categories for display, instead of all the posts from a single category.

There would be a way but you definitely would have to hack things a bit and that level of customization I'm afraid to say is beyond the scope of this forum. You could try here : http://pagelines.com/pros
