siso 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Fantastic framework / theme! Knowing the continual development that goes in to it makes it all the better -- we appreciate your hard work (and great design skills!) Knowing it's only going to get better helps me relax and enjoy the decision we made in obtaining Platform Pro. - Paul
afuggetta 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Just installed the new version. Why the fonts on the home page have been changed? How can I go back to the previous fonts?
Andrew 207 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 @Alfonso, the answer is: for more consistency; it's a CSS optimization. To change, just use custom CSS (`font-family`)
afuggetta 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Andrew, thanks for your answer. I have no idea on how to do it. Can you be more specific? Thanks, Alfonso

intellagentz 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2011 Pardon the ignornace, What is the suggested method for installing this or any new editions? a)Is it a complete upload of the Pro theme? b)Should we delete the prior version (given that it's recommended that we don't activate it when working with a Base child theme? c)Are any changes required where the Base child theme is concerned? Presumably not since that's the whole point of the framework. Thanks
jacecar+ 1 Report post Posted January 9, 2011 Rename the old (which makes platformbase not work) and upload the new. Activate it, and then activate platformbase again. Check HERE for more detailed information. >jace @Jacecar [email protected]

intellagentz 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2011 Thanks for that. Just wanted to make certain that was the simplest way. As a further comment to others reading this, make sure you have an alternative theme available in the theme page (just install any available theme temporarily). Then rename the old platform pro theme (via your host cpanel). Then upload the new zip platform version via the Wordpress themes page upload and activate the Base theme. (I'm still getting mixed messages over activating the PlatformPro or not when using the Base, but I don't as per an earlier moderator post)
