Varying Widths for Feature Slider

Recommended Posts

mnix

Hi, I'm using Platform Pro 1.1.5 and have encountered a bit of a challenge. I need to reduce the overall width of the feature area as well as give unique widths based on the "feature text position" once the overall width is lessened. I'm advanced in CSS, so please be as specific as you need to be in helping me accomplish this. Here are two mockups of what I'm trying to achieve: Feature with Text on the Right - Overall feature width 671px at 596px tall, .fmedia should be about 396px wide, .fcontent should be 275px wide. Feature with Text on the Bottom - Overall feature width 671px, .fmedia should be 671px wide but 319px tall, .fcontent should be 671px wide, but 277px tall. So, somehow I need to specify in the CSS how each .fmedia and .fcontent behave uniquely based on "Feature Text Position" within WordPress. Please Help! Thanks

For each slide you want it to be altered or do you want the feature to be different on different pages? Is there a live link to where you actually have PlatformPro setup? Thanks, Bryan

For each slide I want it altered, very similar to the demo Platform Pro where the 3rd slide has the text to the right, the fifth one the text at the bottom, just with smaller widths so I can squeeze a sidebar to the right of the whole slider. I don't think the link I have would do you any good at this point - just those mockups. Hopefully those explain enough.

Hey Michael, You can use firebug to get some Custom CSS rules for you to apply... This shouldn't be a hard customization, but you'll need to know 1. CSS 2. Firebug

Okay, I know and use both of those. I'll check back in after I tinker some more and see if maybe a link for Bryan would help at that point.
