Site Branding: Displaying site title and logo

Hi The logo for my site is small, 72x72, and I would like to display both the logo and to its right, the site title (using a custom font). The current behavior is that the site title disappears as soon as I set a custom logo in global settings tab. Any suggestions on how to go about this? Thanks Tom
