andulka 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2011 Hi, this has already been mentioned in another thread here, but I thought perhaps it should have its own thread. The problem is, I have set a custom colour (white) for the body text in custom css, but it doesn't show in IE on the English language (default) pages. The colour shown in IE is not the theme default either, but something in between. You should be able to see it if you look at the posts in the News or Blog categories (in IE), where I haven't changed the text colour manually. On the Finnish language pages in IE, and in every other browser I've tested with (FF, Chrome, Opera, Safari) the text colour is white on both language pages. Any idea what could be causing this? The language plugin is qTranslate, and the custom code at the moment is ` body{ background:#000 url(" "); color:#fff; line-height:20px; font-size:14px} #nav ul, #nav .mnav{width:623px} #searchform {width:200px;} #s {width:170px;} #site #contentborder{background:none} #sidebar #bns-featured-category-3 .hentry{ background:none; border-top:2px solid #222222; clear:both; overflow:hidden; padding:1px; padding-left:10px} .bns-featured-category strong a{font-weight:normal} .page-template-page-highlight-php #sidebar{display:none} .page-template-page-highlight-php #highlight{background:none} .page-template-page-highlight-php #maincontent{width:958px} #highlight .highlight-head, #highlight .highlight-subhead { display:none; } .page-template-page-feature-page-php #sidebar{display:none} .page-template-page-feature-page-php #highlight{background:none} .page-template-page-feature-page-php #maincontent{width:958px} ` The page is here. bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 I'm not able to see the issue in IE, did you by chance figure this out? What OS and what version of IE are you using? Thanks, Bryan
andulka 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2011 Hi, sorry for the delay. I have Windows Vista Business and IE 8, I can see the problem also in XP and IE8. It's gone even weirder now with dropdown menus disappearing etc., there's another thread about that. :-(
