Feature bottom border

Okay, the feature slides and feature boxes continue to dissappear on me. I've restored to default and it would be working fine, then when I click save, the screen would refresh and they'd be gone. Just in case I've broken the theme, would anyone recommend I delete the previous versions and do a clean install via FTP? I don't mind redoing my style tweaks. Getting desperate here. Thanks, WG
