Getting Started Problems

I really want to like Pagelines, I'm sure it works great when it is all figured out but I am having trouble with the basics. Why can I not drag and drop on template setup?? Why does my featured slider look like this? Thank you.

Yos it seems to me that if it's not dragging you have a plugin conflict causing the javascript to break. Also do you have link to the site so we can see the feature slider problem in action.

deactivate plugins, also the two section areas should be side by side... what browser/os are you on?
