iBlogPro 4 Upgrade

I've upgraded, and copied the files as per the instructions. But when I switch to the new theme; - The Feature Page has ALL the Features on one page, below one another. - The Highlight Pages have a GREY Highlight Box, which isn't formatted correctly. The content is in there, but it's all just below one another, as opposed to the text being on the left, and highlight media on the right. - The Home Page, which is set to be the landing page, still appears in the menu as a seperate tab, no matter what I do. Normally, the word home does not appear, as it's on the far left, under the home icon.

Yes, but you need to tell me when you're looking at it. I'm not going to have the theme active in that state. It looks terrible. My site is http://www.MLMUnderstood.com If you add me on skype whilst you're doing it, I can switch it over. skype id. natektraining

Right now, the best option might be to while in the old theme copy out all the settings to say a text file, then activate the new. You'll want to "Reset Settings" then add back in your settings. Thanks, Bryan

How do you reset settings? I've looked in the Settings Tab, and I can't find anything to indicate that you can "RESEST" settings. If this doesn't get done by this evening, then I'd like to take a refund if that's ok. Thank you kindly, Ketan.

@Ketan I believe he's referring to "Restore Options to Default" near the bottom of the settings page. However, again, make sure you've backed everything up first ;)

I've done that, and it didn't help. I backed up the site, then activated the new theme, and restored the settings to default. And the graphics still didn't display correctly. Please just exercise the refund, thank you. Ketan.

Hi there, it's now been 3 days since my query. There must be a better way to get this done. In 3 days, the best solution you've come up with is to restore defaults. Can someone please actually help me get this theme up and running? Thank you.

I only have the upgrade for the theme, you can't "install" it on wordpress as I didn't get a zip file. That's what I meant by can you supply me with the WHOLE theme, rather than just upgrade files. After a week of asking, all Pagelines have been able to suggest is restore defaults. WOW! You asked me to post in the forum, so I am. But it's not much help as you don't actually suggest anything on here. I'm the one making the suggestions. You're the experts, not me. I have to say, customer service is completely below par. You ask me to repeat everything I write in an email, and say, please post it on the forum, yet you've not actually helped in this forum. I don't get notifications when someone replies in the forum, so if you'll appreciate I don't check the forum every 5 mins to get a suggestion from you. I just want this theme to work, and would appreciate it, if someone actually took responsibility and helped me get it done. Plus to add insult to injury, when I asked for a refund, Bryan asked me to email help@xxxxx, knowing full well there isn't a refund policy, rather than just directing me to the link in the first place. Why would you send me on such a wild goose chase? The reason I wanted to email you and get this resolved, is because I'm not happy with your response with regards to customer service, and didn't want to upset the rest of your customers with my experience. So once again, I plead, PLEASE help me get this sorted out one way or another. I've paid for a product, and you've failed to support me in using it thus far. Thank you kindly, Ketan.

Ketan, I took a look at your site and you have several markup issues in your content/widgets... this is probably leading to most the issues you are seeing. Have you run a w3 validation on the pages you're having problems? are you using Firebug? As to support, I'm sorry about the delay and insufficient answers to your question. In this case, I think the team tried to answer, but there wasn't sufficient evidence of your issues (no screenshot, links to issues, etc.) We try and do the right thing here; PageLines is about karma more than anything.

Andrew, I have sent screen shots via email. As for W3 Validation, and Firebug etc, I'm not an expert user, so you're talking a different language now. The current theme is working fine, other than the bottom 3 boxes not maintaining their width and spreading across the whole window once you get past the home page. I've suggested already 3 TIMES now, can I download the theme in it's zip format and upload it to wordpress the usual way? Otherwise please just give me a refund, if you're not willing to help via email or skype. Because your suggestion, a W3 Validation, I clicked on the link, and I have no idea what it's talking about once I enter my website into the box. I'm VERY happy with my current theme, and would sincerely like V4, but you're just making it difficult for me. Would you please confirm with me via email that my screen shots were sent? I just looked in my sent box, and they were from my end. All other themes are working fine, so as per my previous suggestion, can I try to upload the theme via wordpress the usual way?
