Editing the feature area with my own HTML

I have platform Pro and want to edit the feature area. I want a plain white background put in there along with some HTML code and arrange the way the video aligns with the text. I would appreciate it if a moderator could promptly help. I have been trying to get this one simple area of my site done for over a day now and the responses on the forum are a little slow for some reason. thanks

Thanks Now how do I get in there and edit/add my HTML?? I want to custom format this whole section. I dont like the options for the automatic layout. I am wanting to get in there and add my own code. Where do I do this??

the main problem is the gap between the video and the text on the right.

im working on it by trying to put all code in the video section but still am not able to get it to look right

when i put the code in the video section, EVEN IF I USE A TABLE, it throws the text down to the bottom. Look Im not trying to be a pain, but I have used a lot of wordpress and have never found a theme so difficult to edit. any help would be much appreciated. Im on day 3 now with this problem.

If i put the text in the video section without a table, it throws the text to the top but center aligns it. Very confusing.
