markhlong 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2011 I recently converted to Platform Pro, installed it and the base child theme on four different sites which I am using for four different classes that I teach. The install was perfect on three, but is basically not functional on the other. I have deactivated both the Base and the Pro, uninstalled and then reinstalled both, etc., and it simply will not work. Examples of lack of functionality include: the Layout editor will not allow me to change from two sidebars to one; in the Template Setup page nothing actually appears in the "window" below the "Select Template" drop-down menu, regardless of what Template I select; I cannot edit the footer... I could go on but that should be enough to illustrate the point that the installation did not work properly. I can only assume that it got "hung up" on something already installed, but I cannot isolate what it might be. I have uninstalled every other Theme, deleted all of their folders, etc., but nothing has worked to this point. Help, please, classes begin in a week! markhlong 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2011 Sorry, it was a plugin problem, though I have not isolated which one yet. I will post a reply once I do. Is there a list of known plugin conflicts? I have not been able to find one... yet.
markhlong 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2011 It was the "Group Wiki Extension" plugin that was zapping Platform Pro of all of its amazing powers. Link: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-group-wiki/
