ninojacobs 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2011 I would like to add a blog to my website. how can I do that? what I want is a direct link on my home navigation to my 'blogpage' and than there my blogs should appear. After 3 hours of trying, I now ask for help. Thanks a million for an answer. Regards, Ni?±o if it helps: this is an example of what I like http://www.impactcompany.nl/blog
Kate 3 Report post Posted January 4, 2011 Hi Nino - No problem... Create a page called "blog" in your dashboard. (This is assuming you also already have a "home" page created. If not, create that too.) Go to the WP menu for "Settings->Reading", and choose to use "static" pages. Then, in the dropdowns, choose your "home" page for the front page, and your "blog" page for the posts page. Let us know if you have any further questions. Kate 3 Report post Posted January 4, 2011 Hi Nino - Not sure I understand what you mean by "only blogs"... You can change what appears on your "Posts Page" by going to "Settings->Template Setup" and choosing "Posts Page" from the dropdown. Also, hiding elements such as the footer can be done on a page by page basis. You would need to select to "edit" your blog page, and you would see the options appear in the right column.
