amtadmin 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2011 Activating the 'Stout Google Calendar' plugin distorts the Platform Pro settings menu (at least it did for me) Just thought someone should know. I'd like to use it but I'd rather have Platform functionality until this is resolved.
bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted January 4, 2011 Maybe a link and a screenshot? There might be some conflicting CSS selectors, seems odd that it would interact within the admin. Thanks, Bryan
amtadmin 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2011 Sorry, should have cropped that down a bit... Anyway, here's the AFTER pic (with Stout ACTIVE)
amtadmin 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2011 I'll try to crop and resend... What you don't see if that the layout is shifted. May not cause major problems but it's definitely not normal. (make no mistake - I'm a noob here!) Thanks for looking.

bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted January 4, 2011 No problem, I can just right-click to view the whole image. Now, since this plugin is causing errors do you think you might perhaps be able to use one of these different plugins instead?: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=google+calendar Thanks, Bryan

jelaryma 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2011 I posted this same issue on the Stout Google Calendar plugin WP support forum and received a pretty thorough response from the plug-in's author. For me, this plugin is the best option for what I'm trying to do on my WP site so other google calendar plugins aren't an option; and since this is primarily a cosmetic issue it's something I can work with for now. The author also suggested that this same issue might crop up with other plugins that use the jQuery UI themes. See the forum posting for more info.
Sourena 2 Report post Posted January 30, 2011 The plugin author is right. I have seen this problem happening when some other plugins using jQuery. Is there any way to fix this in the next versions of the theme? alefba.usWeb Development & Design for Right-to-Left languages
cmunns 16 Report post Posted January 31, 2011 Yes this issues keeps happening with the jQuery UI CSS, but I don't see how it's a theme problem that these plugin authors aren't isolating their code... http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_enqueue_style#Load_stylesheet_only_on_a_plugin.27s_options_page
jelaryma 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2011 Adam, thanks for the pointer (I felt like the proverbial man-in-the-middle)... Fixed in Stout Google Calendar v1.1.0 posted today. See the changelog. Jeff
