davron 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2010 For some reason the area to select the page template when creating a new page has disappeared. When I choose "Quick edit" from the Pages page, every page says it's using the default template (which is the only template option visible in the drop-down menu) even though some pages are actually using other page templates (ie feature template, box template, etc) All the templates are visible and customizable in the PlatformPro> Settings>Template Setup area. I've tried deactivating all my plugins to see if that was the problem but nothing was resolved even with all the plugins deactivated. I also tried re-installing the PlatformPro theme but that didn't work either. The site is performing fine but I can't add new pages with any other template besides the default template. I'm note sure when this issue started. I haven't created any new pages since I updated to the latest version of PlatformPro. Could the new update be causing the problem? Any thoughts on what's going on?
Andrew 207 Report post Posted January 1, 2011 Strange, WordPress should be seeing those page templates as long as they are inside the theme. Did you try activating another theme, then activating Platform again? I'm guessing this issue is more related to WP than Platform.
catrina 103 Report post Posted January 1, 2011 Hm, does this also happen when you open the actual Page editor? Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to. Designer | Catrina Dulay Founder | Catrina and Mouse
