danielgreencharternet 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2010 I cannot locate where I need to edit the 5-column footer. You'll see the text and LI styling of the widgets is different than the other text, Prior to adding the widgets, the default content was like this as well, is different than the rest of the site. I've tried custom css for footer and adding css to the base as well as editing the theme.css via ftp.So I guess I'm confused as to what is controlling what. I've edited everything I could find with Firebug however I have replaced all back to as it was prior to editing. I'm also confused about the difference between the two style sheets in the admin of WP in the editor section versus the files in the theme folders available via FTP. I can't find any documentation-maybe I missed it. Been looking for hours. Can you help or at least point me to the right files? Site in question-see footer
danielgreencharternet 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2010 I reset back to default. What is confusing is there are dynamic, base, core and theme css sheets referencing the same section in Firebug. If you can tell me which controls the footer that is now in black and the widget content I'll go from there. catrina 103 Report post Posted December 31, 2010 The styling is controlled by the DIV IDs #footer and #fcolumns_container in theme.css. Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to. Designer | Catrina Dulay Founder | Catrina and Mouse
