need help setting up my main page

good day first of all i'm a newbe so...sorry for the stupid questions . i'm trying to set up my main page. i want it to look the same as the platform pro demo page : Demo i don't understand how to do it - i went to the platform pro settings and to the template set up but i don't understand how to make it show up . when i went to the first post i don't see there any option to make the 5 features show up.

OK i found something in the "pages" section but my problem is my home page - because the home page is not showing in the "pages" section and i can't change it's layout
