Bug? Banner Text Width Empty

Recommended Posts

abellemare

Using Firebug I found the width is not being assigned to the text side of the banner. My tests to fix it were: 1. To strip all of my custom CSS 2. Turn Off All Plugins Problem remained the same. Here is a test page: http://getmorevisible.com/product-test-page Screen-shot-2010-12-24-at-11.40.30-AM.png

Try adding this to the base.css file to assign the width:

div.banner-text {width: #px;}

Replace # with the width.

But wouldn't that make all of my banners the same width? I would no longer have flexibility.

Problem fixed! Do not put a % sign next to the width amount. 50% It should just be 50. Note: I only saw the problem in Firefox. Safari rendered the banner semi correctly even with the % sign added next to the number.
