FoodandBeverageERP

Enterprise Resource Planning, known as ERP, should be the backbone of any modern business.

Primarily used by companies to monitor, store and interpret data from multiple business activities, a small business ERP can benefit by streamlining supply chain management, integrate with accounts payable, or ease the processes of an entire manufacturing organization. In other words, the right choice of the ERP vendor can encompass applications across all aspects of your business - in one powerful solution.

Essentially, your ERP modules will give you a full overview via tools such as

  • Invoicing
  • Supply chain
  • Sales
  • Inventory control
  • Development

However, one size fits all approach doesn’t always suffice when it comes to choosing your new sap partner. With system requirements differing across business and industries, we’ve compiled a list of the 6 best ERP systems for small businesses, from manufacturing to eCommerce, from cloud-based to on-premise.

I'm doing some consulting work for a small electrical and lighting distributor ($3mm revenue with 6 employees) and I'd like to know if anyone can share their experience with ERP systems?

The company is currently using Sage BusinessVision with BVEssentials and zoho CRM to manage accounting, inventory, payroll, sales, A/R, and CRM. These programs aren't really cutting it anymore and they need something more versatile that will work without a dedicated IT person.

I've narrowed it down to Dynamics GP, Business One, and Sage 300; but I don't have enough hands-on experience with these platforms to narrow it further.

Price is a factor, but I'm more concerned with ease of use.

So many useful info, tnx a lot. I'm working on my website for business right now. I have found info about ssl certificates recently. It is a useful tool for every website. As it turned out Google ranks websites with SSL higher in search results over those that don’t have them. I'm going to buy one for my website too, it doesn't cost much.
