Changing the Nav Bar

Recommended Posts

pegprideauxhotmailcom

I want to tighten up the primary nav bar and change it's text color, so I added the Custom CCS rule #primary-nav ul.sf-menu li a {padding: 2px 5px; color: #1c31fe;} As we can see from the following Firebug screen shot, the color is overridden properly but the padding is not. Capture.jpg Any suggestions that will help me get this to work?

Well, I see that my annotations have been clipped. The first one says, "padding not overridden" The second one says, "color overridden"

Just get more specific: `#header #primary-nav ul.sf-menu li a {padding: 2px 5px; color: #1c31fe;}` should do the trick. Thanks, Bryan
