Recommended Posts

So just goofing about trying different ways to display a "masthead." This is being done at urbanelephants.org Anyhow if you look at the side bar under the "Meet the UE Team" the table isn't showing up correctly.

<table border="1" bordercolor="#cccccc"  bgcolor="#cccccc" cellspacing="5" cellpadding="3">

	<tr height=36 border="1" bordercolor="#000000"><td valign=top ></td><td valign="top"><font face="Arial">Chance Haywood, <i>Managing Editor</i>Posts | Email | Twitter | RSS

Any suggestions on why I can't get the image and the text to "line up"

Might be better to use divs and there are markup errors anyways. Let's just start with: `

` Don't worry that part of the code get's cut off you can still copy from top to bottom. Then style with CSS: ` .team{ font-family:helvetica, arial; padding:7px; border:#ccc 1px solid} .team img{ margin-right:10px; float:left} ` Get that up and then we'll go from there to style it up. Thanks, Bryan
