Embedding a flash slideshow into iBlogPro

Recommended Posts

simonkempmaccom

I wanted to put a flash slideshow into an iBlogPro full width page and tried a couple of WP iframe plugins as I have successfully done with other WP themes but no joy. The flash slideshow appears but only in a narrow window about 200px wide and no amount of tinkering with the iframe settings help. Any suggestions on how to embed the flash slideshow into an iBlogPro page would be gratefully received. Thanks, Simon

Do you have a link to the site you are working on? It's probably an inline style that is gone awry

Thanks Adam. Here is the page in question http://hyde-end.net/celgene/ If you give it a few seconds to load you can see the embedded show is only showing half the content. The actual URL of the show is here http://www.hyde-end.net/photos/celgene/ and it plays fine. I am using the 'embed iframe' plugin from Deskera. If you can suggest another way of doing it that would be great. Thanks, Simon

Although it didn't load for me, adding this CSS should fix you right up `iframe {width:100%;}` You'll notice that with this code the scroll bar disappears because the frame stretches far enough. Paste it in the Custom Code - Custom CSS portion of the theme options.

That did it! Thanks very much for the prompt answer. Cheers, Simon
