Pagelines TubePro Not Loading Videos

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Aries tried to help me over on the iHeartPagelines forum, but he sent me over here in case someone could help me out. I have the Pagelines TubePro Plugin installed, and it was working fine before, but now it's giving me an error about Cross Origin in the console, and I'm not quite sure how to fix it so that the videos will popup in the modals like they were before. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

I been in your website and I couldn't find the Access Origin Control error in the console.

Anyway, if you have this problemen is because the configuration in your data base, you can follow this steps to try to solve the problem or get in touch with your host company.

1.- Depending of your host, find the way to access to the .htaccess file.

2.-One time there add this code:

Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"

Or this one also:

<IfModule mod_headers.c>
  <FilesMatch "\.(ttf|ttc|otf|eot|woff|woff2|font.css|css|js)$">
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
  </FilesMatch>
</IfModule>

And then check is the errors disappear.

I added that code to the .htaccess file, but it seems to still be having the same issue for me. The videos still just get stuck with the loading symbol and nothing pops up.

Did you try getting in touch with your host company?

This is a problem in the back-end.

The hosting company couldn't figure out the issue. Everything we tried didn't work. I just ended up switching to a different plugin. It's just weird because the TubePro plugin worked when I originally installed it and then it stopped working properly.

I get it, the Access-Control-Allow-Origin error is because that in your server the protection is activated, so you can let everything's have access
Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *
or some especific URL
Access-Control-Allow-Origin: https://developer.mozilla.org

Anyways I glad the now it's working at least with another plugin.

Ah! That makes more sense. The person I was talking to didn't really seem to understand why there would be an issue, so I just decided to make my life easier by switching the plugin haha.
