Cookie Alert Script

Recommended Posts

micstepl

I´m using a cookie alert tool (as script). https://manage.cookiebot.com

The OUTPUT is also generated via a script, that is inserted in the "post text area", which causes the problem. (Script like that:

<script id="Cookiebot" src="https://consent.cookiebot.com/uc.js" data-cbid="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" type="text/javascript" async></script>

Once Output in a browser,  the OUTPUT is pushed to the VERY BOTTOM (below the Footer!!!!!!) (Comment:  I wrote 2 word  before the script - which is funnily put in the right place in the content area) (see: https://www.dersteiner.cc/info/dsgvo-cookie/)

Hi,

Sorry, I don't follow you.

I checked your website and the alert of the plugin appears normally and then after click in ok it's gone which is the normal behavior.

The only problem I found was that you have a syntax error in your script: https://cl.ly/2h03402X0Y0S

Also be careful when you add scripts, because is really easy to break the website creating a conflict with the framework scripts.

YES, the Intro COOKIE REQUEST is totally fine. The 2nd Script adding content in the page mails at the link Viren. https://www.dersteiner.cc/info/dsgvo-cookie/

See my Attachment. (Funny thing. When I´m in PL-EDIT Mode, everything is right in place. When I EXIT - beeing a normal user - than the script-text is pushed to the very bottom below the Folter!!!!!.)

so you are adding the script text in the text post area, and the design with the PL editor?
The problem the script text is outside the PL5 code Can you attach a screenshot of the text post area and also one of the PL editor.

Yes, in the post-area (also tried it with PL Text, Embed ... same issue)

Attached see 3 Screenshots:

  1. just putting the script in TEXT area
  2. viewing result (logged in in PL editor)
  3. viewing in browser (logged out off PL)

????? strange !!!!!

Yes but in the HTML the script is added at the end of the code with all the scripts (usually the scripts wait until all the page load in order to avoid errors) and then the script is creating a div with all the content that you can see, that's why when you call your website, the last thing to be added  is that div tag from a web server:

The script: https://cl.ly/0h1x1P2x171f

The Div: https://cl.ly/3i0s2w0J173n

... what is the Problem? and how can I solve it?  (PL-side, or COOCIBOT-side?)
