[Solved] No Padlock for SSL HTTPS

Recommended Posts

marshallsolutions

For the site https://marshallsirishpub.com I am running

Wordpress 4.9.4
Pagelines base theme 1.0.2
Pagelines Framework 2.5.0

I added a SSL certificate to the site and HTTPS is working however there isn't a padlock showing in the browser as it should.  When I go to whynopadlock.com I get the following errors:

A file with an insecure url of "http://marshallsirishpub.com/wp-content/themes/pagelines/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff?v=3.0.1" was loaded on line: 254 of https://marshallsirishpub.com/.
This URL will need to be updated to use a secure URL for your padlock to return.

A file with an insecure url of "http://marshallsirishpub.com/wp-content/themes/pagelines/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.ttf?v=3.0.1" was loaded on line: 254 of https://marshallsirishpub.com/.
This URL will need to be updated to use a secure URL for your padlock to return.

An image with an insecure url of "http://marshallsirishpub.com/wp-content/themes/pagelines/images/[email protected]" was loaded on line: 254 of https://marshallsirishpub.com/.
This URL will need to be updated to use a secure URL for your padlock to return.

I have the Really Simple SSL plugin installed and activated which is suppose to convert everything on the site to HTTPS.

What needs to be done to fix this so that the padlock will show up?

Thanks.

Hi,

you have more than one request on http: https://cl.ly/112Q3c1P0T1r

let's try this:

1.- Get access to your database, (depending on your host the Cpanel, File Manager)  and in your wp-config file add following code:  define('FORCE_SSL_ADMIN', true);

2.- Now in your .htaccess file add this code:

#Redirection code starts

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]

#Redirection code Ends

3.- Save and check if you still have this errors in the console.
