Pagelines Developer / Help

Naivety and I bought myself PageLines.  Watched the the demo video to give me an idea of how it works; I was expecting something like Wix I suppose.  In any case, the video didn't help at all and I am stuck with PageLines, which I can't figure out.  I want a simple portfolio type website with contact info and testimonials, and maybe a couple other things - pretty simple, I thought. I've attached a picture of what the site looks like when I click on the "CUSTOMIZE" button on the left hand side in Wordpress.

I'm lost, as this is nothing what the demo video (

) looked like.

Can someone point me in the right direction? Or offer advice?

Thanks!

Hi,

I made a video with my personal website: https://cl.ly/2p41402u3Q14

Is really simple to use, and you have a lot of plugins that you can use to create and customize your website.

Thanks for the help.  There must be an issue in my "layout" or something.

I followed your video, but for some reason I don't have the options you do once you arrive at the "editor" page.

I do not have the customize, new, edit page, etc. options along the top... this is where I'm stuck!

I attached your page vs. mine to show you what i'm looking at.

Just curious. Are you trying to use PageLines with wordpress.com? If so, this is probably your issue.  The .com Wordpress is pretty restrictive on many plugins. You generally must install wordpress on your own hosting package to use many of the advanced plugins.

Edgar and Chris.  Thanks a bunch for your quick posts. Unfortunately I'm not on the computer as often, so to respond.  In any case, my issue was that I have been using WP.com.  haha Now I've got 2 incompatible programs I bought to work together. Nice! :(

thanks for your responses and help.

It's great that you know how to use it now! :)

I'm sorry to hear about the two products.
