[Solved] Widget breaks - Safari desktop/Mobile and Chrome Mobile

Recommended Posts

Keith Vaugh

HI all/ @Andrew

An old issue has re-emerged in a recent build but seems to this time affect mobile browsers Safari and Chrome. The desktop Safari issue was fixed in build 5.1.4 but at the time I don't recall it affecting the mobile browsers also.

The issue is arising with widgets in the footer. If you have 4 widgets, then the 4th wraps below the first leaving a large blank space on the right. Currently, it is affecting both Safari on the desktop and mobile Mobile, and Chrome on the mobile  Mobile (desktop version is not affected)

I have tried the suggested fixes on this post to no avail:

You can see the problem if our site is viewed on a iPad or the desktop version of Safari - https://www.magva.com

Hi Keith,

can you try to aplay this code into your LESS/CSS editor:
 div.widget-col.pl-col-sm-3{
  -webkit-flex-basis: 33.233%;
  -ms-flex-preferred-size: 33.233%;
  flex-basis: 24.233%;
  max-width: 33.233%;
}
