[Solved] Facebook Login Extension

Recommended Posts

Gray

Hello, so for some reason this extension isn't working. Clicking the button just adds a # to the URL.

The FB APP ID and APP Secret is installed.  What else is missing?

[pl_fb_login url="https://www.testing.com" logged="Dashboard" type="button" color="primary" radius="square" size="st"]Login via Facebook[/pl_fb_login]

Ok so I got the popup screen to open for FB. However the issue is it doesn't register an account. It just redirects to an account page.

Has anyone used this before?

The Facebook Login plugin is not going to work in a local testing, you must be online in order to use it.

also, test if it is working in a different browser of your wp-admin.

Best Regards!

On the screenshots that I sent over. What toggles need to be switched on? And what about any of the other fields? (e.g., Valid OAuth redirect URIs, etc.)

ok, in the first one you must put your website in the (URL of your site), your contact email and in the display name you can put your name.

in the second pic: the valid URL ( https://yourwebsite ), Client OAuth Login YES Web OAuth Login YES Use Strict Mode for Redirect URIs YES, also Make Public must be YES.

But try it in online mode to see if it's working properly.

You have two (redirect URL) one for the Valid OAuth and another one for the Deauthorize.
In the valid, you can put your own website so after the validation, they can go to the homepage.

you are welcome! let me know if everything goes fine!
