Hello. What needs to be done to get shortcodes to work in the text area of Switch?

I'd like to be able to use a shortcode in the text area. Here's a screenshot.

You have to go to your WordPress editor, that text area cannot be used for coding.

I know it can't be used. What I want to know is how to change the section's code to allow embedded shortcodes there.
