[Solved] Main menu not working on mobiles

Recommended Posts

Michele K

Hello,
The "Main Nav Section" menu on our website works fine on desktops but not on mobiles. Any ideas why?

I update the website but didn't make it and although I have basic knowledge to do this, I am far from experienced, so please aim any answers at a beginner level. In case it helps to see the site, it's www.youngroots.org.uk

Hopefully there's a straightforward, easy solution :)

Thanks,

Michele

I might not have been that clear - yes, the menu appears in the top right of the mobile screen but it doesn't have any of the sub menus that should appear as they do on a computer. 'About Us', 'Where We Work' and 'Support Us' should all have drop down menus.

Go to "Custom > Custom LESS/CSS" and add this code:

.navi-wrap .sub-menu{
  display: block;
}

I don't have the option "Custom > Custom LESS/CSS

I have either

a) Pageslines (in the left menu), then a box called "DMS LESS Fallback" (with lots of CSS in it already).

or

b ) Appearance - customise - "additional CSS" (with no CSS in it)

I've tried to add it to both areas separately and it still doesn't work.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to this but just so you know, the css suggested didn't work. The menu itself showed up (which it did before I added the CSS) but only takes you to the parent pages listed. It didn't provide a drop down option when hovered over as on the website. I ended up finding the details of the people who built the website to ask them and am including the correct code here in case someone encounters the same issue and comes across this thread.

The code that made it work is:

.pl-mobile-menu .sub-menu{
display:block !important;
}
