[Solved] Maps Pointer Animation

Wondering if there is a way to control the speed of the pointers as they drop onto the map?

Unfortunately, the Google maps API doesn't support animation properties or customization

Ray or Wendy, good morning!  I hope I can ask you a follow-up: do either of you know (re: location pointers) is there a way to name each one inside the map editor?  In http://jafflz.com/contact/contact-us map editor, every pointer is named "Location 1", "Location 2", "Location 13", etc, by default.  

In the backend, it would be helpful to name each location ... by the location (so Location 3 would be "Harmons Brickyard") so that editing later is much easier.  

(Unless you have an elegant suggestion for doing so, I think trying to identify them individulally on the front-end would make the map cluttered.)
