[Solved] PL5 Contact form segment default subject line

Hi guys

Is there a simple way to customize the default subject line (or any other attributes of the form) of the Contact Form module in Page Editor? I see where I can set who gets emails and how to add/change fields, but this seems essential and there must be an easy way than having to override code? Thanks for your help.

form just sends a boring email with default Subjectline: "New message from [username]" and comes from sender Wordpress of [email protected]. How can I customize these 2 things?

There should be some options for this both in the admin and directly on the section. Have you reviewed them all?

Our client is asking for similar options. Currently, they are only using one "Contact Section", but anticipate using several for other businesses they will need to incorporate in their "mother ship" site. I am not comfortable fiddling with the actual code that will likely be undone by future updates. If our client insists on taking over the administration of their own site (as many have due to budget constraints), simplified "tick box" options for subject line, and sender would be ever so helpful.

Currently there's no customization of these elements, maybe in the future. What you can do is clone the section and add your own with your customizations.

      I've recently added a contact form to my platform 5 site and cannot for the life of me get a response from it. I know with contact form 7, sometimes the information that was being sent through the host email server caused it to stop because it looked like spam, and thus we'd have to change some stuff. Is there any option to do this with the PF5 contact form? Or is it an issue I'm overlooking?

      For some reason sidebars are not available in this multisite which is another issue.  So because I cannot use sidebars I cannot put the widget into the page from the sidebar section and have so I have to use a content loop with the contact form in the post.  When I put the content loop on the page it destroys everything and cannot be used.  It also breaks the pagelines editor as seen in this video.  I need to put a simple contact form (should be an included section but for another time) on the page and its taking forever.  Was going to try a hook but the hook plugin isnt working.  Please anyone take a look at the video and help me understand why/how this can be accomplished.  I feel as though it is a pagelines issue and sometimes people think its a plugin or wordpress.  Here is a video which shows the issue.  Luckily I saved the template so when this happens I just reload the template and try again but nothing is working.  Im working with a guy who invested a lot on pagelines and plugins because I told him and now he's questioning it a bit.  I like the platform and trying my best to learn and promote it but need to fix this issue to move forward and any help is appreciated.

      Slide in Contact form

      Hi Guys
       
      I am wondering has anyone come across a tabed form that will slide in from the edge of the browser when the user clicks the tab. I have tried a few but am getting varying degrees of issues depending on what browser I am using. I just need some kind of sliding draw if the form doesn't come with it but I can't find anything suitable.
       
      IE 8 is causing me the biggest issue, I have my Pagelines site all working in 8 but I just can't find a plugin that works well with IE8 at all.

      Contact Form With Exact Same Styling As The Native Leave A Reply Form?

      Hi all,
       
      I'm trying to create a Contact Me form whose styling is exactly the same as the default "Leave a Reply" form in the Pagelines framework.
      I can really tell where to start.  I experimented with cforms, but I couldn't get the styles to match.
       
      Is there a reasonably simply way of doing this?
