WhiteHouse home page sidebar pushed to the bottom - HELP!

Recommended Posts

Hope I can get some helpful advice here. The newspaper I work for uses an old PageLines theme (WhiteHouse) for its website. It's been working fine for years, but suddenly the sidebar on the Home page got pushed to the bottom. It is in its normal position on all other pages. The site is here: www.thesomervilletimes.com. You can see the problem. Anyone seen anything like this before? Any tips for a fix? We really don't have a webmaster. I'm the closest thing to it, and I'm no coder. Anyway, this makes us look pretty bad and we're anxious to get it straightened out.

Someone suggested that the sidebar DIV is inside the maincontent DIV instead of after it and I should move the entire block of code for the sidebar - from the opening <div> to the closing </div> - to the line below the closing </div> for the maincontent DIV. They said I should look for a homo.php file or front-page.php file controlling the home page, but I can't find this in the theme.

Can anyone here help me figure this out? We need to get this fixed. Many thanks in advance.

Yea, I restored a backup of the site. I couldn't figure out where the code was. Anyway, all is well. Cheers!
