Michael Kummer+ 1 Report post Posted February 26, 2017 Hi guys, I'm trying to replace the [post_date] meta tag that shows under each post with the post's last modified date. Is that possible? Reason is that I update old posts from time to time and readers should see that instead of being potentially turned off by the original published date. Page in question is: https://michaelkummer.com/blog Thanks Michael

Michael Kummer+ 1 Report post Posted February 27, 2017 Hi Aires! Thanks! So if I understand the information in the link you posted correctly, I'll have to create a child theme to display post.updated, correct? Cheers Michael
Aires 265 Report post Posted February 27, 2017 No you will need a child theme if you want to use icons along with the shortcodes. Visit iheartpagelines.com for the latest tutorials on PageLines related products.
Michael Kummer+ 1 Report post Posted February 27, 2017 ok, but what do I need to do if I just want to replace [post_date] with [post_updated]. I haven't tried the latter because it doesn't appear to be one of the available shortcodes, according to the documentation. Is there such a shortcode? Simon 248 Report post Posted February 27, 2017 If you want a post-updated shortcode there were 1.6M results on google, the 3rd was a plugin: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/last-updated-shortcode/
