Am upgrading a site made in DMS2 to Pl5. Have run into several snags I didn't anticipate from DMS sections the client liked and was used to in DMS not being available in Pl5.
Currently trying to recreate the "Columnizer" I used for the footer in cassClayton.com. Using the "sitemap footer" section, however that gives options for 3 menus plus a text ares (plus some socials and copyright text). Well I need the second 2 columns to NOT be menus, but rather the latest Posts and Comments.
Will appreciate some leads how to make this happen. Perhaps there is a different footer section that's ideal for this? Or should I simply drag a couple Container sections and Text sections to do this? Also, kindly point me to a reference for shortcodes for "recent posts" and "comments".
Also, I loved the "RapidTabs" section for sidebars. Is there a replacement for that? Again, I need to find shortcodes for posts/comments, so any leads are much appreciated.

I uninstalled the sitemap footer section trying to reinstall.
Now it is telling me I need to upgrade. See attached image. But it does not do anything. It is saying to upgrade to 5.03
When I click the button, I get a reply saying all plugins are up-to-date.
I refreshed my account. Still no install.

Is there a way to add the social link icons and links to it on the right side - I did this successful on the sitemap footer but don't know how to implement it into the MegaNav section. Agency Section-Splash Module
How to I get the photo to display full screen in mobile/cellphone view - it is completely cut off. I put in an Image section just to try it out and it scales down perfectly. How do I do this with the Splash Module. Also the text over the photo does not completely fit on the cellphone screen. Is there a less/css I can use to get all the text to fit? I'm testing this on a rather large Samsung 6 Edge Plus screen. Sitemap Footer
There are three menus but I only want one. Removing the menu titles does not get rid of the menus and "none" is not an option on the drop down menu. How do I eliminate these two extra menus? Thank you for your assistance. I am most grateful.

In post 34871-sharebar-issues Danny suggests one can use any of the icons in font-awsome for social share icons. What's the best way to use other images? Client asked me to implement the icons at http://www.wpbeginner.com/showcase/16-best-free-social-media-icon-sets-for-wordpress/ specifically #20 "20 Social Media Icons". Have downloaded the zip file containing those icons but where/how get them to show up on the site?
So I am referring to both the icons to send visitors to the site owner social properties AND shar icons so people can Like, share ect.
Upon further research, I see a discussion on problems with using social icons on SSL (https://...) sites since a warning message comes up complaining about mixed SSL and non-SSL content on the page? Since this site is a shoppingcart site, using Woocommerce, this could be a problem. What's the current wisdom on dealing with this? Also, I read a while ago there can be a performance hit if one makes their whole site SSL, so since Wordpress and themes adds significant overhead, what's the current wisdom on this issue? SSL for all pages or just for shoppingcart checkout/account info pages?
