Can I edit header and other items without Pro Licence?

Recommended Posts

Chris_Lamle

Hi

I've downloaded the platform 5 plugin and Framework theme. I went to edit the header and seems I need the Pro licence. Go to edit type styles - Pro licence needed. Typography changes - Pro licence needed.

I was really wanting to have a play around with the plug-in but it seems so stifled without paying for the Pro Licence I can't work out what I can do with it. Adding a logo into the header is probably one of the most things on a site.

Is the basic version much use for creating anything?

Cheers

Hi @Chris_Lamle,

If you would like to try out all the features of Platform 5 you can do so with a local install or by adding the words staging to your sub domain.

For example staging.mysite.com

Hi

Just tried this and still get the same problem. I can't edit what I would consider basic layout items like background colour for the site, header image (logo), footer background colour, etc.

Am I missing something here?

ya you should be able to edit that stuff without being pro, provide screenshots if you need further clarification

Well you can change most of these things via the front end tools... not sure why the default logo is pro only, we may need to change that.
