global sections wiped out; have a database backup

Recommended Posts

I updated WP 4.6 and then started editing a DMS2 site (just working a single landing page template) and then out of nowhere all my global sections are gone even though I didn't touch them at all. I don't know if it happened when I cloned a template or applied a template or edited/changed sections, but all of a sudden they were gone.

I have a db backup. Is there a way to add back my global area sections programmatically / manually via db?

The templates are stored in a wp options pagelines_template_map*

You may also need to copy any missing sections data from the table pl_data_sections.

If you have a snapshop of just before maybe rolling back to last db backup might be easier?

Id make a new snapshot before you do anything in phpmyadmin though.

I restored the wp_options table and things came back. Then, at the page I was working on, I disconnected the template that was assigned to it (because of the longstanding bug where cloning a template makes the section IDs the same--so updating the new template actually updates the previous template too) and that cause the global areas to vanish again (fixed, header, and footer).

Please advise.

Unable to attach an image that's already been uploaded.
When attempting to upload one from scratch, it gives me the error seen in the screenshot. As you can see by the Chrome Inspector, I receive a 400 error.

Ik like to use the following Plug-in in my DMS Theme, but can' get it to work. My DMS Editor is not loading anymore if I paste this short code in a page, textbox or mediabox: [wpdatatable id=1]
      Plug-in: WPDataTables Plug-in
      Shortcode:  [wpdatatable id=1]
      Website: http://gentleclinics.nl/prijslijst-heren/

Anyone experience with this plug-in and DMS.

I recently downloaded the latest DMS2 update. Since the download, I lost front end ability to update. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I originally purchased, I believe, a 3 site licence for DMS2. The new account interface does not reveal any of this information.
How do I know how many licences I am entitled to? How do I reset one for a new website? All it says now is that I don't have any Pro licences?
