Hi there,

I moved a multisite installation from stofstoor.co.za to rustenburg.localmall.co.za

The content on pages that was carried over does not "Save" when I edit it...

But If I add new elements and edit them everything works fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Using PL5? Can you check and see if there is a Javascript error of any sort? (use developer panel in chrome)

@Andrew There is no JS errors I have checked...

@Simon Please elaborate? Does this usually happen with DMS when a post is moved? Does this mean in essence that i have to redo the website on the new domain?

Thanks for the replies so far...

When you say does not save, does the save button come up, save and go away?

Are you sure nothing is printed into the console?

I make a change in text or anything else..

I click "Publish" a few times. It says "Saving..."

When it's done and I refresh the page, the changes are gone..

But as mentioned above if I add new elements and make changes to them it works fine.

There is only an issue with elements that were already added (on the old domain - before the transfer to the new domain)

OK had a quick look, very strange.

Anyway positive part of it is if you clone one of your sections the new clone is indeed editable, as you can see i cloned one of your textboxes and added the word test and saved.

Okay, do you have any idea why this happened? And how to fully resolve it?

It is not ideal to clone everything - it doubles the work, but it can be a work around for now, thanks!
