Widget Logic conditional tags for categories

Recommended Posts

Can't figure out how to get Widget Logic to place a menu on one category archive page. I put the following code in Widget Logic in the Widgets area: is_category(???las-vegas-events??™) --based on: is_category('blue-cheese') from the conditional tags help page-- I would like it to show up only on http://www.helpvetsnow.org/category/1/las-vegas-events/ but it shows up on http://www.helpvetsnow.org/category/district-of-columbia/dcnews/ and http://www.helpvetsnow.org/category/news/. Any idea on how to make it so that a menu ONLY shows up on certain category pages? Also would like it if I could tell it to show up on the category page and the subcategory pages of that category. Thanks! Stephen

Yes, we could use a CSS trick instead: ` #sidebar #nav_menu-7{display:none} .category-las-vegas-events #sidebar #nav_menu-7{display:inline} ` Thanks, Bryan
