I require help in migrating from GoDaddy to WPEngine

Hi Pagelines team and community,

I am going to be attempting to do a full migration from GoDaddy to WPEngine.

I need to know, will I lose the front-end customisations I have made?

Also are there any backups or things I need to do to ensure that I do not lose any important info relating to the site?

Kind regards,

Hi Dan, im sure WPE have a site migration tool?

Your settings are all in the database, everything should be fine.

Just make a full backup on godaddy before you start.

Nice one.

Thank you for your prompt response, I have a few other questions regarding Platform 5 and some other stuff, so will post those in a new thread.

Is there a shortcode or a way to automatically pull the site name into the footer or elsewhere?

Does anyone know what features have been included in the Foundation theme? Such as building blocks or the Motion UI?

      Hi Pagelines Team,
I am interested in setting up a bbPress forum on my website.
Unfortunately, I have never set up a child theme for my site and have been just using the drag and drop system to put together my site on the main theme. If I am to install the child theme, and activate it, what do I stand to lose in terms of design and current configuration settings on the backend?
Thank you for taking this time to read this.
      Kind regards,

      Hi All
I have just migrated my theme from a perfectly functioning local version to my server and it looks corrupted.  I have followed the standard migration (Replace WP Content, Upload Database, Search & Replace URLs)
Things I have tried to rectify the problem:-
Changed Permalinks, deleted .htaccess file Deactivated Plugins Removed all custom CSS But It all still seems to have the same problem the url for the website is as follows: www.blueanchor-reigate.co.uk
