Filter Blog Categories - Pagelines Framework Content

Working on my first P5 site!  I'm trying to find out if there's a way to filter blog posts from appearing on my main Blog Page.  I have a single post category that I wish to remove from my main blog as it will overwhelm my main blog page.  I've created a separate navigational category menu item to display posts from this category only.  I don't want this category showing in my main blog page.

Does anyone know how this can be achieved.
