TourGuide Hero Section "Open in New Tab" no longer working

I've been working a bit with TourGuide (I really do love this section). For some reason, in the Heroes section of TourGuide, the box that turns on taget="_blank" on the links no longer seems to work. It is marked "open in new tab." It seemed to be working fine (from my vague memory) about a week or so ago. I didn't notice it until this past weekend. 

I am running to teach a class, but it's my memory that you can't hack this where the link goes in this section by simply adding the HTML. Can someone else confirm that this is a problem? I tested it on two different installs on two different servers.
